Charter services

Everything we arrange on the water

Six services, one coordinator. Each begins with the same brief — date, guest numbers, boarding point, duration and budget.

The full list

Charters we coordinate

All charters are run through licensed commercial operators. We hold the brief, compare the options and stay with the booking through to the day itself.

Private vessel charter

Half-day and full-day exclusive charters on Victoria Harbour, the Yarra and Port Phillip Bay — from small-group cruisers to larger licensed passenger vessels.

  • Vessel shortlist matched to guest numbers
  • Boarding point and berth confirmation
  • Catering and beverage arrangements
  • Written inclusions and cancellation terms

Corporate and client days

Client hosting, leadership offsites and end-of-project functions, scheduled around office hours and boarding points a short walk from the CBD.

  • CBD and Docklands boarding points
  • Timings built around the working day
  • Single invoice for the whole charter
  • Run sheet shared with your team

Weddings and milestones

Ceremonies, receptions and milestone birthdays on the water, coordinated with your celebrant, caterer, florist and photographer against one fixed run sheet.

  • Ceremony and reception sequencing
  • Supplier load-in and load-out windows
  • Guest arrival and boarding management
  • Wet-weather and contingency planning

Ground transfers and conference movements

Coach and car transfers timed to boarding, so delegates and guests arrive at the berth in the right order rather than all at once.

  • Hotel, venue and airport pick-ups
  • Set-down points close to the berth
  • Staggered arrivals for large groups
  • Return transfers held for the actual finish time

Itinerary and on-the-day coordination

Where the vessel goes, when it turns, and how the hours are spent — planned to real transit times, then run by the coordinator who wrote it.

  • Route and turning points planned to the hours booked
  • Minute-by-minute run sheet
  • Morning berth confirmation
  • Coordinator contactable for the duration

Standing arrangements

For organisations chartering through the year: agreed terms, a known contact and a repeatable booking process instead of a fresh negotiation each time.

  • Pre-agreed commercial terms
  • Named coordinator for your account
  • Preferred vessels and boarding points on file
  • Consolidated invoicing
The sequence

What happens after you enquire

The same four stages apply to every service on this page.

01

The brief

Date, guest numbers, boarding point, duration and budget. We ask for anything missing before quoting.

02

Shortlist and hold

Suitable operators are approached, inclusions compared like for like, and a tentative hold placed on your preferred vessel.

03

Confirmation

Berth, boarding and departure times, catering, crew, payment schedule and cancellation terms are issued in writing.

04

On the day

Berth confirmed that morning, guests met at boarding, coordinator contactable until the charter ends.

Good to know

What sits inside a charter fee

Charter pricing depends on the vessel, the hours booked, the day of the week and what you want served on board. We set the components out separately so you can see what is driving the number.

  • Vessel hire for the hours booked, with crew
  • Berthing and boarding-point charges
  • Catering and beverage packages, where taken
  • Ground transfers, where arranged
  • Our coordination fee, stated separately

Public-holiday and peak-season rates, minimum hours and extension rates are confirmed before any deposit is requested.
